A brief introduction to Wyre Forest Matters
Wyre Forest Matters is the Local Strategic Partnership for the Wyre Forest District.
In a nutshell, this is a partnership of organisations from the public,
private, community and voluntary sector aiming to improve the quality of life in Wyre Forest
by addressing important issues affecting those who live and work here, such as health, community safety, transport and education.
In the Wyre Forest District, we have clear local priorities which are set out in
our Sustainable Community Strategy (SCS), "Making a Real Difference".

Our priorities fall into 6 categories:

These categories are shared with the Worcestershire Local Area Agreement, and both our SCS priorities and those from the LAA are set out in more detail on the relevant
pages from the navigation bar at the top of the screen.
The Partnership of Partnerships
The LSP acts as the "Partnership of Partnerships", maximising collaboration and opportunities
to work together. It is the only partnership which has the remit to consider the District as a whole, across all 6
priorities. The main "business" of Wyre Forest Matters is the delivery of the
Sustainable Community Strategy, and it will focus its efforts on ensuring that the priorities in there are being delivered
and achieved.
Partners
Alongside the LSP, there are a range of partnerships, action groups, organisations and agencies operating within our area
who are dedicated to improving quality of life in the Wyre Forest District. They all contribute to achieving our
