Wyre Forest Matters Forum

The Wyre Forest Matters Board is the executive group of Wyre Forest Matters, which brings together partners at a senior officer level to drive forward the strategic direction of the LSP, provide authority to their staff to take appropriate action to deliver outcomes and monitor performance against delivery of the priorities. 

 

Meeting up to 6 times a year, the Board has responsibility for commissioning work to deliver the SCS and making demands on the LAA for funding.  Each member has responsibility for one theme from within the SCS. 

Who's on the WFM Board

The key responsibilities of the Board are:

 

*  In tandem with the Forum, developing WFM’s vision and

   priorities and work for their implementation.

*  In tandem with the Forum, ranking the priorities of the SCS for

   delivery.

*  Developing a work programme based on the selected priorities

*  Participating in the delivery of the LAA, and making demands on

   the LAA for funding where this is not nationally stipulated.

*  Overseeing WFM projects and activities. 

*  Monitoring delivery of the SCS.

*  Establishing Task and Finish groups to drive action and 

   research. 

*  Commissioning work and projects.

*  Managing the interface between WFM and the Worcestershire

   Partnership in the delivery of LAA priorities. 

*  Influencing for better joined up working.

*  Involving the right partners at the right level. 

*  Making the LSP and its work visible.
