Notes from the WFM Forum Oct 2009

The Wyre Forest Matters Forum is an open and inclusive meeting for officers and partners to shape the work of Wyre Forest Matters, deliver aspects of the SCS and participate in Board decisions through representation.

Meeting up to 4 times a year, it will enable many more officers and partners within the District to be a direct part of the LSP, and will in part help to create thinking space to generate new ideas and opportunities.

The key responsibilities of the Forum are:

*  In tandem with the Board, to work towards the SCS vision and priorities

   and their implementation

*  In tandem with the Board, to rank the priorities of the SCS for delivery

*  To make recommendations to the Board through written reports

*  To explore challenges, opportunities and needs, generate new ideas

and approaches to deliver the SCS

*  To identify gaps in provision

*  To influence consultation, and look to join up local consultation wherever

   practical and desirable

*  To represent the needs of the Wyre Forest district
